Dearest B.Yoga Family,
As much as I am a Summer lover, the crispy beauty of Fall teaches me to tune into the ephemeral, the nature of cycles and embrace change as a spiritual calling for a grounded presence. Recently, I was listening to Deepak Chopra recall a conversation with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in which he was trying to explain to him what stress is. Maharishi eventually defines it as "resistance to existence". This concept hit me. Suddenly, I looked at my own stress with new eyes to pinpoint what I was actually resisting .
Deepak also offers us an antidote to stress: Playful creativity & Flow. We can practice all the breathwork, all the asana, all the meditation and be the perfect Yogi. But if all of our practices are based in actual resistance and rigidity, we may feel a little better when we do them, but we do not heal the actual root of our stress and dis-ease. When we release resistance, we allow change and renewal.
Change can lead us to experience loss and grief: in one way or another, we are constantly dying and transforming. Something leaves our life and at the same time, it opens space for the new. Fall season and her ornamentsâmushroomsâ, are wise teachers for embracing transformation and change. I will share more about their wisdom in class and through our channels. I am looking forward to share this season with you and its energy of transformation.
In Fall, we have a Membership offer to keep you covered for the rest of the year. Scroll down to find our Fall Unlimited Trimester Offer. There is also plenty of newness and change for you: new Teachers, new Teacher Training Faculty, & new schedule updates. Marion Drouet began practicing yoga and meditation in 2005, at the same time that she started her studies in Pharmacy. Since then, Yoga has accompanied me through every aspect of lifeâwork, motherhood, and even times of illness. Beyond all the physical benefits, yoga is for her a way to ground, to cultivate presence, and to connect with the heart space.
She hold a 200HR Yoga Teacher Training certification in Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow (2014) and an 85HR Prenatal Yoga certification (2020). Through her teaching, she offer a creative vinyasa flow that weaves together mindful movement, moments of stillness, and diverse breathing practicesâinviting students to reconnect with their bodies, build strength and energy, and find a sense of inner calm.
Marion had been a B.Yoga Teacher, before becoming a mother, between 2015-16. Excited to be back in the B.Yoga Shalas.

Kiyoe Wellington was first introduced to yoga asana by Glen Moore, a musical mentor and fellow double bassist. In addition to yoga asana, pranayama and meditation, modalities like Feldenkrais, Pilates, and Alexander technique were integral to maintaining optimal physical performance during her demanding music conservatory studies.
After joining the B.Yogi community for a handful of years, Kiyoe enrolled in B.Yogaâs 250hr Yoga Teacher Training and In-Depth Studies 2023-â24. Her teaching style is much a reflection of her life- a multifaceted blend of tradition and modernity. Kiyoeâs life has been strongly impacted by the power of co-regulation and healing in community through creating, emoting, and breathing with others in her experience as an orchestral and chamber musician and choral singer. Through her work and studies as a western herbalist, she is equally intrigued by the emerging science behind nervous system health, facial networks, and the interconnectedness of all the bodyâs systems in tandem with their environment. These dualities find harmony under the umbrella of yoga and create the throughline in Kiyoeâs class offerings.

I completed the Jivamukti Teachers Training in 2011, in New York under the watchful eyes of David Life, Sharon Gannon, Jeffrey Cohen and Lady Ruth. What is Thai Massage?
Thai Massage is an ancient healing art based on the principles of yoga philosophy. The practitioner uses the physical body as a tool to access the subtle bodies, in order to bring physical, mental and spiritual healing and balance.
Blockages can be released and the energy restored to its natural flow by the application of rhythmic pressure on energy lines throughout the entire body, the stretching of muscles inspired by yoga-asanas and the mobilization of the main joints.
Because this massage is working on the different body layers the release works on an emotional, energetic and physical level. Thai Yoga Massage could be seen as a moving meditation. When performed with awareness, equanimity and loving kindness, practicing Thai Massage trains the body, the mind and the heart. It becomes a mutual meditation and a powerful energetic exchange with many benefits for both giver and receiver.
Who is the course for?
⢠Anybody wishing to learn how to work with the body and discover new and deeper ways of touching and relating
⢠Yoga teachers, physiotherapists, shiatsu therapists, osteopaths, massage therapists (âŚ) who want to broaden their skills and deepen their existing practice
⢠Or in other words, the course is open to all, with an openness and affinity to give and receive on a physical, mental and spiritual level.
⢠Since Thai Yoga Massage is done on massage tatamis on the ground, a basic physical ability to spend time on the ground is the only physical requirement for participation.
