B.Yoga Basel goes Indigo in 2023

2023 is the Year of Synergy for B. Yoga Basel.

B.YOGA together with INDIGO FITNESS CLUB brings you new classes in a beautiful space with a set of facilities to up your self-care and wellbeing.

B.Yoga’s new additional yoga room is located at the 8th & 9th Floor of the Baloise Park Ost Building (Aeschengraben 29) overlooking the Gellert neighbourhood & the Basel urban landscape, a 3 min walk from the SBB Basel Main Train Station.

The Yoga Room

Our new yoga room is located at the 8th. Floor of the Baloise Park Ost Building (Aeschengraben 29) at the INDIGO FITNESS CLUB. The facilities include changing rooms , toilettes & showers, a wellness area with sauna and steam room, a reception & lounge area.

 
 
 

How does it work?

B.YOGA Classes at INDIGO are available to all our Members and B.Yogis. You can reserve your spot online through our website, arrive at least 15 min. before class start at the INDIGO Reception Desk on the 9th. floor. You will be handed a B.YOGA towel and a locker key. After changing your clothes and leaving all personal items in your locker, take the extrernal staircase or lift to the 8th. floor, cross the hallway to find the Class Area door. Take class at yoga room on the 8th. floor and afterwards wrap up your practice with a soothing visit to the wellness area. If you wish to get an extra sauna towel, they are available at the reception desk for a 5CHF rental rate.

Classes have a max. of 14 places for B.Yogis in each class. INDIGO machine areas are not available to B.YOGA visitors.

YOGA @ INDIGO

In this class you will stretch and strengthen. Based on the technique of Vinyasa Yoga (breath paired with conscious intelligent movement), you will twist, side bend, backbend, forwardbend as well as invert your body.

You will learn proper Yoga Asana techniques with skilled Yoga teachers in constant inquiry and evolution, as well as alignment, breathwork, meditation & relaxation practices to boost your sense of presence, wellbeing & connection with the Self.

RULES & GENERAL CONDITIONS

  1. All B.Yoga Unlimited Memberships, B YOGA | INDIGO + 75-90’ Class Packs and B YOGA | INDIGO + 75-90’ Single Classes are valid to attend classes at the Indigo Yoga Room.

  2. There is no B.Yoga Front Desk at the INDIGO Fitness Club, pre bookings are the preferred class registration. Always announce your arrival at the INDIGO Front Desk to get a locker key + B.Yoga Towel. Announce your arrival to the B.Yoga teacher, so she/he/they confirms your attendance in the class lists.

  3. Sauna Towels are available at the INDIGO Front Desk for a 5.- Rental Rate.

  4. Classes are limited to a max. of 14 spaces for B.Yogis.

  5. B.Yogis are allowed to use the following facilities: Reception Desk, Changing Rooms, WC’s, Lockers, Wellness Area, Café & Terrace. It is not allowed for them to use the machine and weight areas or attend other classes which are not B.Yoga Classes.

  6. Short notice cancellations (less than 60 min. before class start) are subject to charge.

What is B.Yoga?

B.Yoga offers multiple daily yoga classes & workshops of various methods and yoga styles. Our classes, be it Kundalini, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hatha, Jivamukti or other variations are available to all levels of practice through Open Classes (all levels) and special Beginner Courses. We also lead meditation sessions. All our classes are open to drop-ins.

B.Yoga’s classes can vary from vigorous and intense to soothing and restorative. Most classes are based on fluid movement paired with conscious, intentional breath (Vinyasa) linking body, mind and soul. Teachers bring inspiring inputs to class from diverse sources like Yoga Philosophy, Native American Traditions, Art Theory & Practice, Buddhism, Tao, Science, Engineering, Design and more.

B.Yoga hosts workshops with local and International Yoga teachers as well as a Yoga Teacher Training, Yoga Retreats, & in-Depth Studies Course.

B.YOGA HAS FOUND ITS PLACE IN THE HEART OF THE CITY IN THE MEANTIME. THE STUDIO IS CONVINCING WITH ITS WIDE SELECTION OF VARIOUS COURSES AND ITS CHEERFUL-SWEATY PRACTICE. DYNAMIC  STYLES PF YOGA SUCH AS DHARMA, DYNAMIC AND JIVAMUKTI YOGA ARE OFFERED, SOMETIMES ACCOMPANIED BY MUSIC, CHANTS AND SPIRITUAL TEACHINGS. YOGA DOES NOT ONLY MEAN “STRETCHING” ON THE MAT, BUT AN ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN DAILY LIFE AND SOCIETY. THE TEAM IS INTERNATIONAL, TEACHING HAPPENS IN VARIOUS LANGUAGES.
