B.YOGA HEALTH RECOMMENDATIONS FOR COVID-19

Last update 12.03.2020 14:30

  • According to the BAG, events with less than 200 people are allowed.

  • You do not need to bring face masks to the Yoga studio.

  • If you are joining one of our events, please test your temperature every morning to keep everyone else safe.

  • Wash your hands. Wash your wrists and the space between your fingers too.

  • If you feel sick, or feel any of the symptoms related to COVID-19, refrain from joining classes and stay at home. Report it with your house doctor, and read the Kanton Basel-Stadt information here: coronavirus.bs.ch

  • If you were on holidays or visited the Milan/Veneto area in the past 2 weeks, wait 10 days before joining the Yoga classes again. After 10 days, if you are sure you do not present any symptoms,  you are welcome to join the classes again. We are also happy to share with you class recordings in case you stay at home.

  •  For classes use your own Yoga mat.

  • If you don’t have one, maybe this is a good moment to reconsider getting your own. Not only for this situation, but for general hygiene.

  • If you use our public mats for our classes, clean the mat before use and afterwards too.

  • Stay calm, though this virus is contagious it’s mortality is low, consider that.

  • Take care of your Immune System, some natural tips are: drink lemon juice every morning. Ginger and Equinacea are known to help too. Avoid foods and drinks which weaken your immune system. Research and read about the human  immune system.

  • If you sneeze during class or in the studio, use your elbow.

  • We won‘t provide Savasana massages or assists until the current situation has passed. :(

  • Wash your hands again.

  • Most important: Do not touch your face all the time.

  • We want to cultivate a space of connection and refuge in these times of mental stress, be part of it.

  • Check as well the Federal Health Information and Recommendations, here a version in English.
