Join Yoga Teachers Daniela Fuentes–designer & B.YOGA'S Creative Director– and Johanna Heusser –performer & choreographer– for a full-on week of yoga practice, mindful mornings, inner discovery & peace set in a dream-like hotel and architecture sanctuary situated in the luscious natural Cycladic landscape of a Greek island surrounded by the breathtaking Aegean Sea.
A week devoted to yourself away from routines and obligations, surrounded by this stunning location of pristine beauty at a resort which celebrates its greek roots through simple design and barefoot luxury will certainly refresh your senses. We invite you to take the space to explore your inner landscapes, spot your places of joy & restore your soul.
LOCATION
This year our location is a small collection of luxury holiday villas, located on the Greek island of Tinos, in the heart of the Aegean Sea. The villas have been designed, built and furnished to create a beautiful balance between discrete luxury and traditional Cycladic accommodation.
In and around the villas one can enjoy complete privacy with full service, the common infrastructure such as pools, sun terraces, boutique, reception and vegetable gardens let you become part of a whole. The resort is discreetly located on a slope, embedded in nature and designed as a small village, with a view of Tinos town and Mykonos. It was built according to traditional building methods and mainly local materials.
The objective was for the buildings to have the smallest possible impact on the land and the landscape through aesthetic choices, sustainable design and construction methods which would permit nature to partially reclaim it.
The building of terraces on Tinos was and is still essential to make the island agriculturally usable. Buildings such as the Kynara Boutique Village can use and promote this craft by building more than 1500 meters of walls by hand over the course of months. Stones from its own property were used for all work on the surrounding area.
It is only 10 min. from town and 5 min. to the nearest beaches by car.
PROGRAM
We will start the day with 30 minutes of mindful journaling while sipping tea. A 2.5 hours Morning Yoga Practice follows which includes pranayama, kriyas, asana practice & meditation.
The Evening Yoga Practice is either workshop-style or yin-oriented, with the focus on turning inward, and quietening the mind. Yoga practices will be lead by Daniela or Johanna.

Daniela has been a guest speaker and teacher at the Tedx Basel event & the Basler Frauenlauf in 2023.
Daniela believes our collective becoming has a strong relationship with the micropolitics of our own intimate personal space, and through transforming the connection with our own internal landscapes and affects, we influence how we connect with our communities and planet.
Johanna Heusser - Johanna discovered Yoga during her studies to become a professional dancer when she was 17. She did her 300h TT at Vinyasa Yoga Academy in Rishikesh, India and since then she was teaching dance and yoga on regular basis. For her, Yoga is a multi layered construct that helps her to reconnect to the body and to the life force energy that is captured inside of her. Her classes are often dynamic and inspired by her other profession in dance and body therapies such as craniotomy sacral therapy and Thai Yoga Massage. Through her artistic approach she researches on the topics of yoga and capitalism and how we can deal with yoga philosophy in a neoliberal western society in a careful and respectful way.
Johanna finished her dance studies in 2016 at the HF for contemporary and urban dance in Zürich and graduated from the Master Expanded Theater at HKB in Bern in 2022. Since 2016 she is also creating her own works, which are shown in different Festivals and Theaters in Switzerland, Europe, India, Turkey and Uganda such as ROXY Birfselden, Schlachthaus Theater Bern, Dschungel Wien, Theater im Pumpenhaus Münster, Gostner Hoftheater Nürnberg, FIT Festival Lugano, Zürcher Theaterspektakel, Kampala National Theatre, Khuli Kirkee Delhi, Khoj Delhi, TIFA Pune, Shoonya Bangalore or Istanbul Fringe Festival.
Johanna sees her work to be at the intersection of dance and theatre. Her interest lays in cultural practices that focus on the body and its cultural connotation. She sees these practices in a sociopolitical way and finds strategies in her work to make them visible. The constant questioning of her own position as a choreographer in a western context and how the neoliberal system she is living in has an impact on her work and body is part of her pieces that she is passionate about. She likes ambiguities of all kinds and finds humor a good tool to speak about complicated and intertwined interactions between different players in the world.
