Dear B.Yoga Family,

If you wonder why you got this email again, we got a special promo for returning yogis, catch up here. Much has happened: A Gregorian New Year, A Lunar New Year and one more Full Moon. Long ago, a big format chalk tag for the Guerrilla Yoga Program said: Coincidence is not an Accident. (perhaps some of you have been enough years in B.Yoga to remember that!)  If you want to get the whole story, stay with me, grab a cup of tea. For the fast readers, scroll down or click for all practical news: new year's membership sale (the most valuable membership you can dream of), schedule updates, beginner series & studio news.

There are many new yogis in the studio! 🤗 I want to personally welcome you to B.Yoga with a full heart ✨🧝🏽‍♀️🫀 These letters announce events and promotions, moreover, they are an important medium to connect deeper through words as community. We send them max. 1x or 2x per month and only when there is important information to share. We suggest you remain subscribed to not miss anything 🙏🏽🪷✨ Relevant for you is to check the Beginner Series & the Membership Sale, both amazing opportunities for new yogis.

In the past months, life has been a series of coincidences and circumstances– a broken hand, a sick leave for 7 weeks, my father's sudden heart disease, a tip Quetzal shared with me– all leading to a moment in which all made sense: A few weeks ago in mid January, I was sitting on a small couch on the balcony of a house gazing at the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. The house–built into a steep hill of the Oaxacan coast in the south of Mexico– belongs to the healer woman I was referred to. While overlooking the vastness of the Ocean I felt my being was craving that pause from my life here in Switzerland, not only physically but spiritually. I had made excuses to go to Mexico for almost 4 years, add to that the guilt for transatlantic flying and the psychological sequels of surviving a pandemic. Can you relate?

My father's health propelled me over all my excuses, guilt trips and anxieties. Boy, I needed that. If you are living abroad, you know these family moments will come one day, yet when they happen, they turn your life upside down. All the mirages and illusions of control fall apart. They give space to a clear intuition which tells you what you need to do. My father's heart health is stable by now. I was thrown into a much deeper healing journey than just sealing my fractured bones.

Some of these healing experiences are already coming up in my class dharma talks. In the last weeks, I shared about the importance to participate emotionally in our communities and how it can makes us happier. I will continue sharing what I learned bits by bits, hoping that the wisdom I brought makes up for my silence and absence in the studio. After this needed pause I feel a much fuller tank to share. By the way, you will see me more often in the weekend schedule than on weekdays, and in our collaboration projects. I encourage to be an early bird on Mondays and join my sunrise 7:00 class at our INDIGO studio. Yoga + Sauna is a great ritual to start the week.

Besides my inner journey, there are many studio news to share, I haven't been so good at sharing all these milestones!  Behind my lack of social media, we keep evolving as studio in wondrous ways. We have embraced new teachers like Silas Blümel & Sarah Kim; set awesome collaborations expanding the yoga studio beyond its locations with the Vitra Design Museum, Creative Mornings, Hochschule for Gestating und Kunst (HGK) and the Roche Yoga Club.

We are so proud as a team of all what we have managed to create together, the years invested in crafting a team and a work culture truly aligned with Yoga has given beautiful fruits. I am honoured and proud to lead this project held by so many amazing humans, BIG THANK YOU <3

Write me back, send me your feedback and comments, I am always delighted to read your emails and notes.

Much love and appreciation,

Daniela Fuentes
