October News

Dearest B.Yoga Family,

It's been a while! From my side, I definitely missed writing you. Equally, the space I took to finish my MA studies and –right after my graduation– a solid holiday after two years of either studying or working full time, was so needed. In particular, for me to continue my journey with integrity and share it from that place with you.

So, I hope you welcome my letter again into your inbox with rejoice and, either a hot drink in hand, or for those fast pace readers who want to be up to date with the last B.Yoga highlights: scroll down or click to know everything about the new Teacher Training & In Depth Studies formats and teachersa wonderful workshop we are hosting in November with Joan Hyman which for sure will be nourishing food for your Yoga practice development and all the updates to our Fall Schedule.

Integrity is a theme I resonate with and currently explore in my practice and classes. It is perhaps a long term exploration: when I listen to what I shared at the TEDx Basel talk I did in 2023, I acknowledge my spirit is following this thread since some time.  In this exploration in and outside of class, I notice more and more that a main aspect of Yoga is that it can become a platform from which we can connect with all our hearts or centres of intelligence: the head, the heart and the gut. When I have an issue, my head takes over: it analyses, concludes, predicts, programs...All to keep me safe from possible collateral damage. As soon as I touch my mat and I –literally– put my head upside down in Down Dog, my heart takes over and reminds me of the depth of my feeling. I can magically listen again to the voice of my intuition, which always offers me solace and a more generous perspective.

I come to understand that what the sages taught about Yoga, as a tool for connection and awakening of oneness, beings with very simple and down to earth experiences which remind us we are human in all its spectrum.  I want to keep learning to walk this Earth with that integrated alignment and, moreover, I wish the same for you. I am here for you, happy to see you on the mat either on the regular class or on on the Teacher Training we are about to start!

With gratitude, appreciation, & love,

Constructing A Practice
Workshop Weekend with Joan Hyman (USA)
Friday, November 8 – Sunday, November 10, 2024

A vinyasa flow practice is defined as "to place in a special way". To construct a yoga practice means to consciously organize postures in a sequential matter that yokes the mind to the body through thae vehicle of our breath.

Join Joan Hyman, a senior yoga teacher and creator of The School of Yoga, for a weekend of asana practice that integrates our subtle body and can teach you the foundations of creating a sustainable yoga practice. Whether you are new to your practice or well-seasoned, this weekend is perfect for teachers and student yogis alike. You can join the full program or sessions individually.
