Meridian flow yoga is based on the the five element theory, the energy meridians of the body and simple, therapeutic movements to enhance harmonious flow within the bodies energy systems. Meridian flow is applicable to any yoga style and practice and is for everybody. It’s about getting to know your own energy system and to know what is appropriate for each moment. The five elements or seasons are a guiding principle of living in accordance with the laws of nature. Understanding this eternal rythm allows for better alignment and flow.

How to create a simple Meridian flow sequence
Angela completed her Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Sydney Institute of TCM (Australia) and the University of Western Sydney in 2003. She trained further at the Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, (China); and at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Hatton, UK.
Recurrent episodes of backpain in her early twenties brought Angela to Yoga. The practice of Yoga changed her life and she undertook the Ryoho Yoga Teacher training in Sydney, Australia under Andrzej Gospodarczyk (founder of Ryoho Yoga) in 2002. She has been teaching Yoga since 2003 and is continuously deepening her yogic studies with teachers such as Shiva Rea and Tias Little. Both of whom influenced her practice and teaching greatly.
Her special Interest is to combine the Health promoting Benefits of Chinese Medicine with the restorative and balancing techniques of Meridian Yoga. She teaches in a fun, relaxed and practical way, helping people to integrate the principles of Yoga and Chinese Medicine into daily life.
