What is B.Yoga?

 

B.Yoga is a sacred space created for the practice of Yoga located in downtown Basel, Switzerland. B.Yoga is a colorful, alive, warm and cozy space, specially designed to make you feel as comfortable as possible and a bit home. Our facilities include a big Yoga Shala (yoga room) with lots of windows and a beautiful view of Basel, a reception desk with all information about new events, workshops and last news, changing rooms, lounge, showers and Yoga boutique.

At B.Yoga you will find a warm welcome from our teachers, who will introduce you to the Yoga practice and guide you personally to choose which are the most suitable courses for you. B.Yoga promotes tolerance and diversity, no matter your religion, nationality or skin color, everybody is welcome in this place, in which we gather to explore the Yoga philosophy mainly through the Hatha Yoga practice (yoga poses, breath exercises, etc.).

Yoga is interested in experiences and for this reason, most of our teaching methods are 100% practical. The aim of this methods is to understand in a deep level the Yoga concepts in order to be able to apply them in our day-to-day lives and live a normal life in harmony with the Yoga principles which make harmony with ourselves, our innerSelves and in consequence with the whole Universe.

 

Our yoga classes are held either in Engilsh, Schweizer-Deutsch or Hoch-Deutsch and normally consist on a challenging -both intellectual and phiysically- yoga asana practice (yoga poses) mostly based in the Vinyasa style of Yoga, meaning to link together movement and breath, accompanied by bits of traditional yogic and other contemporary teachings, mantra chanting, self-inquiry, hands-on adjustments, alignment and inspiring music, everything to develop your innate ability of living a life with intention and discover your personal potential. We recommend you to join one of our classes, or to take a Trial Week Yoga Pass for new comers and experience by yourself what's the buzz on Yoga.
